I'm so incredibly disappointed in Colorado at the moment, I can't even voice it properly. Yesterday, Colorado voted against equal rights and voted an Amendment to the state constitution that shouldn't even be anywhere near it. "Marriage is between a man and a woman." Whatever. That has nothing to do with politics. Haven't they heard about separation of Church and State? I guess not.
They also voted against Referendum I, which allowed gay and lesbian couples the term "domestic partners" and the ability to have the same rights as any other couple legally.
I guess the term "equal rights" has fallen upon deaf ears in this stupid state, because right now, they just voted for segregation and adding bias into the constitution.
Maybe I should move...
